Sustainable Hockerton in Nottinghamshire have now installed a community scale wind turbine for the use and benefit of the community. This video celebrates their achievements so far and talks through the project and how it was achieved.
Particularly interesting is Alan Simpson at 4mins-16 talking about why 'community' projects are much better at managing / limiting the usage of electricity they have created themselves
Hockerton do a one day workshop for community groups and farmers interested in doing this
